Indian Hill High School was the place to be on Saturday, March 7th, the annual Odd Couples Dance themed “Nashville Nights” on Saturday, March 7th.
That’s when juniors and seniors came with their mothers, fathers, or special adults for the purpose of raising money for the high schools after the prom event “Around the World”.
“What a memorable evening! With three boys and having participated in years past, this dance has always been my favorite event at Indian Hill High School. Great dancing, raffles for the kids, and most importantly, best date night ever with my son” said DeDe Warstler, event co-chair.

Juniors and seniors came out to socialize, dance, and win raffle prizes. Many area businesses donated goods and services to support this worthy cause. Things like spa treatments, hairdos, restaurant gift cards, and tuxedo rentals, were donated. Disc jockey Dr. Robert Rhoad lended his expertise by playing all the favorites. He knew how to keep the crowd dancing and happy.
This year, Ann Gibson and Leanne Irvine surprised us all by teaching and leading a Flash Mob style line dance to the song “Old Town Road”. What a fun and exciting way to close out the night. Once again Greg Gould donated his time and talents as our photographer. He captured many memories that will not be forgotten. The Madeira Kroger has been very supportive of the event, donating all the water for the evening. Many of our events at IHHS are chaired and supported by staff and parents.

This year we saw many kids come together to help with set-up and breakdown. Callie Gibson, Nar Roy, Will Ford, John Kushman, Nate Strauss, Coleman Warstler, Isabella Dinga, and Ben Starkey all lended a hand. A special thanks to Audrey Bristol for creating an iconic banner advertising the event at the high school.
“We are blessed with extra special kids that come from great families that like to have fun. They always come out and support our school, students, and staff in a big way”, says Tina Dinga, event co-chair.
