Kindervelt #50 members and guests enjoyed a memorable evening at the “Speakeasy” for children’s mental health

On Friday, February 2st, the Ladies of Kindervelt 50 held a record-breaking fundraising event benefitting Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Psychiatric Emergency Assessment Center, “KV PEACe” raising almost $100,00. Presented by Celebrity Cruises and held at Fueled Collective in Hyde Park, more than 250 people attended this year’s event, “Modern Speakeasy: Learning to Speak Easy about Mental Health.”

Event Co-Chairs Candace Cioffi, Tracy Hodge, Mimi Kennedy, and Blaire Warren utilized the fabulous decor at Fueled Collective, which was a perfect fit for the speakeasy theme and ushered in the new 2020s decade with a fun twist on the 1920s. Always a night to remember, this year’s event was supported by many new and long-standing sponsors, and featured dinner by the bite, signature cocktails, a DJ, a raffle silent auction and a bourbon pull. The money’s raised support the pioneering efforts of Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center to assess and treat the mental health needs of children and adolescents in our region.

Kindervelt 50 is grateful for all of its sponsors, donors, attendees and volunteers for helping to make a huge difference in children’s mental health at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.
