Indian Hill Middle School Robotics Finishes Third in State

Indian Hill Middle School Robotics students earned third in the state out of 50 teams March 6 at the Marion County Fairgrounds in Marion, Ohio.

Indian Hill Middle School Robotics qualified for state competition after making it to the final round of the Highland County Robotics Competition in February.

At the March 6 state competition, the team did not disappoint. In its debut year, the team placed third in the state out of 50 teams! The state competition was held at the Marion County Fairgrounds in Marion, Ohio.

“This was an excellent showing in the first year of the club!” said Indian Hill Middle School Gateway to Technology Teacher Vic Schultz. “This is very much a success story that involves Braves helping Braves to learn, and I want to give a special thanks for Indian Hill High School student Kunal Ranjan who volunteered his time to help guide the team.”

Robotics team members included the following Indian Hill Middle School students:

Senuka Abeysinghe, Issac Acheson, Megh Gautham, Euan Ji, Nathan Padhy, Krish Ranjan, Alex Tran, Arjun Verma.

“Wow!” said Indian Hill Middle School Principal Jennifer Ulland. “This goes beyond any dream we could have had for our students in the first year of the robotics program! We are incredibly excited to see how our students will continue to grow, and we thank Mr. Schultz for his mentorship during this journey.”
