Cardinal Pacelli Showcases Student Talent

Cheerleaders Emma Jagers and Katie Weinrich are exuberant third graders!

Before schools closed due to the outbreak of the Coronavirus, Cardinal Pacelli School held its annual Talent Show. This event proved to be another blockbuster showcase of students whose ability to entertain is impressive.

 From cheerleaders to magicians, from vocalists to instrumentalists, from comedy to dance - the show had it all and more!

In addition to the students in the following photographs, also performing were; The Cardinal Pacelli Band (Mathilde Starner, Jane Taul, Liam Wegmann (all fourth grade), Charlotte Cooley, Mamie Maringer (both fifth grade), Nicholas Maringer (sixth grade) and Aiden SEP (eighth grade); Alex Brannock (first garde) on piano; singers Jane Taul, Maren Cianciolo and Isabelle Payne (all fourth grade); Agnes (first grade) and Mac (third garde) Redpath doing a comedy act; fourth graders Isabelle Payne and Jane Taul doing a comedy act; magicians Emma Jagers, Abby Jagers and Blair Ryan (all fourth graders; and fifth graders Cecily Houston, Ava Manford, Emma Miller and Lancy Thurman singing.


Second graders Kate Wenger, Ella Rouse and Becca Ryan mesmerized with their magic act.


Third grader Oliver Karp sang Friend Like Me from Disney’s Aladdin.
Cheerleaders Emma Jagers and Katie Weinrich are exuberant third graders!
Third grader Brooke Duffy sang a lovely Silent Night.
Third grader Lauren Rybolt sang Allelulia by Rufus Wainright.


A lively Irish reel was performed by second grader Macie Smith.
Asher Cooler, a third grader, got the crowd clapping with Queen’s We Will Rock You.
A flute duet featured fifth graders Charlotte Cooley and Mamie Maringer performing Dance of the Reed Pipes.

Eighth grader Jacob Brannock played When the Saints Go Marching In on piano. He and brother Alex then joined forces for a duet of Camptown Races.

The Advanced Band, playing Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody, is comprised of Charlotte Cooley (fifth grade), Mamie Maringer (fifth grade), Nicolas Maringer (sixth grade) and Aiden SEP (eigth grade). 

Contemporary dancer Lei Lei Pham, an eighth grader, performed to Look Out by James Vincent.
