New Business, Blush Bridal & Formal Boutique, to Open in Fort Thomas

By Mark Collier

A new business is opening in the Hiland Building in Fort Thomas.

Jasmine Harris owns Blush Bridal & Formal Boutique opened for business on Saturday, September 14 with a ribbon cutting on that day.

Harris, who also owns and currently operates a daycare facility in Cheviot, said she first opened her bridal and boutique shop in Fort Thomas four months ago at the Fort Thomas Executive Suites on Alexandria Pike. She had worked at Christ Hospital in the Oncology Unit for eight years previous to that.

Rapid growth led to a need for finding more space and a renovation of suite 110 at 18 N. Fort Thomas Avenue in the Hiland Building was executed quickly.

Harris said she'll offer tuxedo rentals and dresses for formal occasions.

"Our space is beautiful and will allow us to cater to anyone looking for a wedding gown, bridal and bridesmaid parties, homecoming or prom," said Harris. "I like to think people will come here because we are incredibly friendly, have high quality designers and offer the best prices in town."

Harris added that she offers around 12 different designers and everything in the store is brand new.

For the time being, she will be open by appointment only Monday through Friday and open on Saturday (11-5) and Sunday (12-5). She hopes to have regular store hours soon, Tuesday through Sunday.
