Odd Couple Dance “Wild Wild West” A Huge Success

On Saturday, March 2nd, the Indian Hill High School was the place to be. It was the site of the annual Odd Couples Dance.  That’s when mothers come with their sons and fathers come with their daughters for the purpose of raising money for the high schools After Prom.  The theme this year was “Wild Wild West”.

Many, many students and family members attended this year, coming out to socialize, dance, and win raffle prizes.  More than 200 students and their dates enjoyed a memorable evening to benefit Indian Hill’s After Prom 2019.

The raffle was a success, too.  Many area businesses donated gift cards and services to the cause.  There were spa treatments, restaurant gift cards, free tuxedo rental, FC Cincinnati tickets, and even a free custom teeth whitening!  “We’re really lucky to live in a community that supports our efforts to keep the kids safe on prom night. “ said Tina Dinga event chair.

Disc Jockey DJ Odvious knew exactly what to play to keep the dance floor hopping.  From “The Electric Slide” to “Dixieland Delight”, the songs were diverse, but appealing to both parents and kids.  The dancing was nonstop. “These are great kids that love to have fun. Tina Dinga said. “I heard many say that they had more fun than homecoming.”  “The theme was a huge hit, so many parents just loved getting out with their kids and dressing up.” Tina Dinga explained “and I think they are definitely looking forward to the next Odd Couples Dance.”
