ArtWorks is pleased to announce Melissa Currence as the new managing director of communications.
“We are so very excited to be working with such a brilliant talent as Melissa,” said Tamara Harkavy, ArtWorks’ artistic director and CEO. “She brings a fresh new perspective to our ArtWorks and our mission.”
Currence leads the strategy and execution of innovative marketing and communications plans to advance ArtWorks’ mission. Previously, Currence worked at the Greater Cincinnati Foundation and Talbert House. She has an accreditation in public relations and is a certified Salesforce administrator. She is president of the Cincinnatus Association and board member of the League of Women Voters of the United States. Currence has a bachelor’s from Xavier University and master’s from the Ohio State University. Currence resides in Hyde Park.
“I am looking forward to spreading ArtWorks’ mission to more people throughout the city,” Currence said.
