Farmer s Market at the Cincinnati Sports Club returns for a second year, hosting Little Rock Farm on Tuesdays and Saturdays through October. The Market takes place from 9 a.m. to noon and is open to the public with easy, convenient access, plentiful parking and no crowds.
Established in 1938, Little Rock is a third generation farm located in Kentucky which grows and produces food for consumption, including produce, fruits, poultry, farm fresh eggs, honey, bakery goods, canned goods, jellies, jams, pork and grass-fed beef. Many of the items are organically grown in their hothouses and greenhouses, the beef is grass-fed with no hormones or antibiotics, the fresh baked goods are prepared daily in their kitchen and the deliciously sweet honey is harvested from the numerous hives in their bee colony.

Says Cincinnati Sports Club manager Karrie Gabbard, “Cincinnati Sports Club is all about providing the best combination of health, wellness and social experiences for our members, and we are continually striving to improve by implementing innovative new features and services to help us achieve that mission. This unusual partnership certainly has helped us achieve that mission, with the added factor of convenience, as members can purchase these fresh and healthy foods immediately after their Tuesday or Saturday workouts, without having the hassle of stopping at the store on their way home or fighting parking and traffic.

“The community is invited to purchase some of the freshest locally produced food items twice a week now through October. This is a mutually beneficial situation, as we are helping out the local farmers by providing an outdoor venue for them to meet and sell their produce to the community. The Cincinnati Sports Club’s Market Café will also utilize the fresh produce in daily culinary creations.”
Little Rock Farm also provides a pre-ordering service for the convenience of the Cincinnati Sports Club customers, which has proven to be extremely popular as members will be assured their fresh meats, eggs and produce are ready and waiting for them.
The Farmers Market, in operation from June – October, is located at the front entrance of the Cincinnati Sports Club, rain or shine.
