Cincinnati Country Day Celebrates Eight Commended Students

Eight Cincinnati Country Day School seniors have been named Commended Students in the 2018 National Merit Scholarship Program.
Cincinnati Country Day School National Merit Commended Students are, front from left, Daniel Nesbitt of Montgomery, Jessica Lang of Mason, Connor Pohl of Oakley and Elizabeth Norwood of Anderson Township. Back from left, are Isobel Hensley of Milford, Shaan Dahar of Mason, Noah Michalski of Norwood and Max DelBello of Indian Hill.
They are: Shaan Dahar of Mason, Max DelBello of Indian Hill, Isobel Hensley of Milford, Jessica Lang of Mason, Noah Michalski of Norwood, Daniel Nesbitt of Montgomery, Elizabeth Norwood of Anderson Township and Connor Pohl of Oakley. Each will receive a Letter of Commendation from the school and National Merit Scholarship Corporation, which conducts the program.

About 34,000 Commended Students throughout the nation are being recognized for their exceptional academic promise. Commended Students placed among the top 50,000 scorers of more than 1.6 million students who entered the 2018 competition by taking the 2016 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.

Earlier this school year, Country Day announced its three National Merit Semifinalists from the Class of 2018. They are Kaitlyn Hardesty, Moya Ly and Lorae Stojanovic, all of Montgomery.
